Book Trailers 4 All

I know I've mentioned book trailers before...like commercial movie trailers designed to create interest in movies, book trailers create interest in books.  Many publishers are creating them, but so are kids!  There are a number of Diigo bookmarks for sites about and with book trailers...but here's one that brings a lot of them together, invites trailers from library media specialists, teachers and students, and makes them available....well, 4 all!

Book Trailers 4 All
houses videos divided by grade level into folders.  From the site:

These folders have been created as a way for educators to share book trailers for children's and YA books. It is an extension of the group "Book Trailers for All" on Teacher Tube. The reason they are available in both locations is that this site is blocked by many school filters, while Teacher Tube remains the most accessible file sharing site. Here's one created by a student in Animoto:

You can download a book trailer, link to it, embed it....or CREATE it!  Great resource!

If you have time before the end of the semester, I challenge you to create a book trailer for one of your titles--or get your students involved in creating one! So far, none of you need extra credit, but some of you need a push, a challenge, an adventure! Here it is!
